What are the eligibility criteria for ACCA course?
Professional Examination Route(PER) - For Entry to ACCA's professional Qualification, you should be at least 18 years of age and have qualified Senior School Certificate 10+2( pass in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics / Accounts, with 65% marks in English and accounts or Math and minimum 50% marks in other)
Mature Student Entry Route - Above age 21 years, no academic qualifications required . Must pass the equivalent of papers F2, Management Accounting and F3 financial Accounting within 2 years before further progression to the ACCA exams is permitted.
Graduate Entry Route - Relevant Degree holders may be exempted up to all nine papers within the Fundamental level and register directly at the professional level. Other degrees with some relevance may also qualify for exemptions.
Access to ACCA via CAT qualification - No academic qualifications required. Candidate can appear for Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) qualification first and then transfer to the skills modules of the ACCA qualification by claiming exemption from the first three papers in the knowledge module i.e F1, F2 and F3.
What exemptions are available?
Up to nine exemptions are available from the fundamentals level of the ACCA Qualification. No exemptions are available from the professional level.
The number of exemptions a candidate can claim will depend on how closely your previous qualifications match the content of the ACCA syllabus. Example-If a candidate has completed a relevant degree from an ACCA accredited university, he may be eligible to claim exemption from up to all nine exams within the fundamental level.
How to get Oxford Brookes Bsc. Degree while studying ACCA?
A candidate is eligible to undertake the Oxford Brookes BSc. Project after completion of the Fundamental level. A candidate must complete following steps:
1) Complete a Research and Analyst project based on a 6,500 word report on a topic suggested by Oxford Brookes University.
2) Produce a Skills and Learning statement of 2,000 words.
3) Present your findings.

Once a candidate completes the above listed projects, it shows that he/ she is highly motivated, a self-starter, keen to learn new skills and able to write a formal business document. In addition to this, it is another opportunity for the candidate to add an additional qualification to your CV and enhance your career prospects
When can I register for ACCA?
You can register at any time, however if you wish to take part in specific paper based examination sessions, the following deadlines apply:
For June Exams
Register by 31st December of the preceding year.
For December Exams
Register by 15th August of the same year.
What are fees associated with ACCA registration?
On registration you will be asked to pay an initial subscription fee. Then on 1 January each year, an annual subscription fee will be due. As you enter for exams or claim exemptions, a payment will be requested.
